In a campaign which promises change and hope, Sen. Barack Obama (D) wins over Sen. John McCain (R) in a bid to be the 44th president of the United States. A charistmatic liberal democrat, Obama makes history as the first black president in the White House. On election day, November 5, 2008 at 11:20 PM (Eastern Time,) Sen. McCain graciously concedes his defeat by exhorting the American people to move on and rally behind the next president in the name of unity and prosperity of the country.
In a classy and elegant remark, Sen. McCain accepts the voice of the electorate and looks forward for a unified nation. (Photo Credit: laphoto1) ==0=
